The Experience
Our Gastro-Cultural Walk begins at the local market, where we show you the elements still used in our ancestral culture. For health reasons, we no longer offer tastings inside the market — but you're welcome to buy fruit and eat it after washing it. Then we visit 5 places, each one sharing their signature dish in a smaller portion, so you can taste all 5. Every tour includes: - 🛒 A guided walk through the local market - 🍽️ 5 signature tastings in reduced portions - 🎨 Streets with incredible urban art (graffiti) - 🏛️ Colonial streets - ☕ Coffee tastings - 🍫 Cacao & chocolate tastings - 🥃 Chiapas spirits: pox and comiteco THE TOUR WE ARE NOT: - We are not a commission-based tour - We are not a reseller tour - We are not a social commentary tour WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US: LOVE. We are VERY honest with you: no one will pressure you to buy more. If you'd like to contribute to our local economy, be certain we will never take you to resellers — we take you to the people whose hands make what they sell. It benefits both sides. One more thing, made very clear: WE DO NOT CHARGE COMMISSIONS TO THE ESTABLISHMENTS. On the contrary, we PAY them for every visit and every client — and if you return to the place, we pay again. We do NOT speak about social topics. When asked about social themes (Zapatista movement, Maya culture, mother cultures, etc.), we connect you with experts.
